BWS Partners With Lytx to Improve the Safety of Our Fleet

BWS, Inc. has recently partnered with Lytx, a member and a sponsor of the National Waste and Recycling Association we have recently joined, to implement their product called DriveCam on the vehicles in our Maryland medical waste removal fleet. DriveCam is more than a dashboard camera—it offers many advanced features that will help our drivers improve their driving habits, avoid accidents and, in general, feel safer on the road.

DriveCam Features We Are Excited About

GPS location tracking
Dual-view camera records both the inside of the cabin and the road
Real-time feedback when the driver needs to correct their driving
Ability to review the footage and isolate risky behavior
Comprehensive reports and analytics

All of these features turn a DriveCam from a dashboard camera into a coaching platform for our drivers. And based on the DriveCam data we receive from the field, we can reward our drivers for good driving habits and encourage improvement where there is room for it.
