Trey Krell, son of BWS President Ray Krell continues the long legacy of reliable medical waste disposal in the mid-Atlantic region focusing on future growth and environmental sustainability
Baltimore, MD, April 13, 2021 - Biomedical Waste Services is pleased to announce the promotion of Trey Krell to Vice President and appointed Secretary on the board. In this role, Krell will oversee the company's development strategies and execute business plans to align continued growth and environmental sustainability initiatives. He will continue to oversee accounting and finance, and lead all branding, sales, marketing, and operations innovations so all teams are operating at their highest levels.
T. Krell has worked as General Manager for Biomedical Waste Services for 10 years, during which he has played an instrumental role in completing the treatment facility installation at their Baltimore headquarters. He has continued to focus on driving growth, improving efficiencies implementing a new, robust operational software, reducing costs, and minimizing waste production. Over the last year under T. Krell's direction, Biomedical Waste Services added more enhancements to streamline their medical waste disposal solutions installing an industrial-sized medical waste grinder, which reduces the treated waste's overall volume by 90% or more. Additionally, they developed an automated sterilization conveyer system for reusable medical waste containers.
"Our company is growing in many ways and we continue to look for ways to ensure our future growth and success. Trey has been a pivotal part of this and I am pleased to name him as Vice President to keep our focus on our growth strategies," says Ray Krell, President of Biomedical Waste Services.
Biomedical Waste Services plans to expand their service geography with additional waste transfer stations throughout the region. "Adding more medical waste transfer stations and resources will improve our routing and increase our overall footprint providing more customers reliable and flexible solutions for disposing of their medical waste," Trey Krell says. When asked about his new role, T. Krell added, "We are fortunate to have a dedicated, collaborative team here at Biomedical Waste Services. I am honored with this opportunity to lead our team into the future."
Krell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from The Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University.
