BWS Receives Governor's Citation for Contributions to Maryland's Economical Growth & Progress for Nearly 50 Years

Trey Krell, Vice President of BWS, Inc., and his father Ray Krell, President of BWS, Inc. based in Baltimore, MD, were honored as two of five local business owners to receive a Governor’s Citation for their significant contributions to Maryland’s economy. They were joined by Enyinna Anthony, President & CEO of Anthony Management Group; Harry Salmoran of Senor’s Chile; Silvia Campana, Founder & Owner of Image Creators; and Paula Keys-Tilghman, President & CEO of Absolute Supply & Services. Danielle Fields, Marketing Director at BWS, Inc., accepted the citation on behalf of Trey and Ray during the Ready, Set, GROW! Procurement Connections Workshop organized by the Governor’s Office of Small, Minority & Women Business Affairs at Maryland Live! in September. The event attracted over 100 business owners, including those from minority, women, and veteran-owned backgrounds, and aimed to foster business relationships with state agencies.

Receiving this citation underscores BWS’s longstanding commitment to safe and sustainable regulated waste management practices, highlighting their deep-rooted contributions to Maryland communities for nearly fifty years and promoting a cleaner environment.
